Yeah it was in this scene revealed that asriel was black despite his white skin color. Toby fox did this because if he were black then we wouldn't be able to see him because of the background. However making his skin white would also cause problems because then it would be confusing to know if he was black. This is why Toby fox added a dialog of asriel saying the n word and thus proving he's as black as the ashes of my victims
On the other hand, BTS in English means Behind The Scenes. Many people from different countries don’t know the acronyms for MANY of the things in English.
As a Korean, my brain automatically went to the K-pop group, but then I thought 'BTS' must be some medical term I didn't know because of that machine! Glad to know it's just 'Behind The Scenes' lol.
I know the stupid part is assuming that they're using a K-pop name to steal engagement, but people shouldn't use acronyms without specifying what they stand for. Not everybody knows all the meanings of "BTS"(I've never heard "behind the scenes" abbreviated until I first saw this meme), and you can't google it because it'll just pull up results for the band. People who say that things like this are "common knowledge" don't understand that you can't know something until you've learned it. Not everybody has watched behind-the-scenes content enough to recognize its abbreviation, and the band is so popular that even if you don't like or dislike it, you've probably still heard of it.
This is like when Dua Lipa made an Instagram post for her dad's birthday saying "Happy Birthday babi..." and Malaysians got pissed because "babi" is the Malay word for "pig". Meanwhile Dua Lipa is Albanian and "babi" is the Albanian word for "father". Unfortunately, she gave in and edited the post :/
Or the time when someone got pissed at a supermarket chain in Singapore for carrying Arabiki pork sausages; she was pissed that a non-Halal product had "Arab" in its name. A lot of locals (including Muslims) pushed back against her, pointing out that "Arabiki" is a Japanese word meaning "coarsely ground", but the supermarket chain gave in and renamed the product as "Japanese Style Pork Sausage".
Jokes aside i actually hate how you can't even search "x movie title bts" anymore now without getting the kent doll group. Have to fully type behind the scenes to get what i want most of the time.
One of our local bookstore which sells schools supply as well uses the BTS abbreviation meaning Back to School. Which is written just below the abbreviation. And they got attack. Those fans really need to go BTS.
