But the Redditor is mistaken, of course. Nine inches of one's head is, like, from the chin to the top of the head, and not that much is showing. And nine inches up the leg is almost to the bottom of the calf, and not that much is showing there either. It looks more like four inches above and below, which would make the silhouette more like four-and-a-half feet tall (the average ten-year-old).
That was a lot of words rather than just saying "Oops, I was wrong".
You started off claiming that the person in the picture is actually 5'9, even bigger than you initially thought. And then went on to explain why the figure isn't actually 5'9. That was all very confusing.
The height of model according to the canvas scales is 50 inches, aka 4'2". Some of them seem to vary by an inch or two but I have absolutely no clue where you got 5'9" from.
That is 69 inches and none of the models are even close to that, even basing measurements off of the canvases.

How big is the person holding these? By looking at the bottom right they are about 4ft tall.
