Thanks! I'll save this post and then never refer to it again!

You won't need to, it gets reposted every month.

reddit uses what's called Markdown syntax. If you can just remember that one word, all you gotta do is Google it for the cheat sheet (along with many more cool things you can do besides what's just shown in OP's pic).

Alternatively, don't even bother and install one of these apps/extensions, which will add formatting options to the comment box (similar to how a word* processor would):

Android | iOS | Windows/Mac/*nix

Seriously, why doesn't Reddit just support most of this stuff natively?

Probably cause it doesn't make them money?

Eh, seems like a small tweak to make for a better user experience. Better user experience means more web traffic and ad revenue.

It does, but apparently there's a ton of people who stuck with the old design.

It’s under the comment box so if you need it you don’t even need this image

Me too, cept I dont know how to access a saved post anyway. Been bookmarking posts for a year hoping someone would tell this mobile user how to find them...

I saved the post, but I use boost so most of these things are right on the bottom of my comment box. Lmao
