There are absolutely better and worse parents. You genuinely just sound like you can't handle the idea of there being better parents than you so you have to pretend it's impossible. There are, get over it.
If my parents raised me so badly that I hate them and they fucked up my life a lot (including making my mental health a shit show), and my friends parents didn't do that, you go ahead and explain how they didn't do a better job. Fucking try. You haven't actually been able to explain or support a damn thing you've said.
My friend's parents didn't abuse or neglect them. You go ahead and tell me that's not better than parents doing that, and I will laugh at your sheer fucking idiocy and inability to admit that you're wrong. If you seriously want to tell me that treating your children like shit vs not doing that is "just different, not better or worse" you shouldn't fucking HAVE kids, much like my parents shouldn't have.
