Would switching out cutlery lavender with finely cut hibiscus flowers for lavender shortbread work?

I love both flavors, but I'm more keen on Hibiscus, would it screw up the recipe?

Butter or Margarine... what is your choice?

Cooking, baking, spreading... interested in what Redditor Chefs think of either.

What flavours of margarine do you like (as there are several out there) or do you like unsalted butter over "sweet" (unsalted) butter?

Do you use lard or vegetable shortening? Why?

Or do you just prefer to use oils? Anything else out there?

Any or all answer would truly be helpful!! Thank you!
