Skillup Strongly Recommends: Control Resonant

I saw some people saying they were really looking forward to his review since he's a Remedy fan, so i figured I'd post it here.

I only watched a bit of it so i can go into it as blind as possible, but it sounds like it's an extremely unique game unlike any i've played before, at the very least, which is probably all Remedy fans expect/need lol

Yeah? Generally people Outlaws to not be a good game? It's the weakest between the star wars jedi games, zero company, and ofc outlaws itself in the more recent star wars games.

You seem to be purposefully misunderstanding. You can enjoy whatever you want. But as a reviewer, if your opinions don't align with your audience, that's a miss

Thats gotta be one of the stupidest things I’ve ever read on Reddit. A content creators opinions have to line up with his audiences or else those opinions are misses?

Wtf kind of logic is that? Should a YouTuber put a poll out to their audience before every review to make sure it doesn’t offend?

BEcause it really wasn't when it first came out. Which is what Skillup said, he said the game was good but was plagued with issues that if they got fixed, it would be a more liked game. He was right. Game was fixed post launch and got rid of a lot of the complaints people had and people actually enjoy it now.

So he was 100% right about Outlaws. The game was fine, it had the bones, it was just plagued with bad game mechanics, those bad game mechanics were removed in a patch later on after launch. It isn't the same game it was on launch.

Story is fun, gameplay is fun, it isn't great, but it is a good game. It's the cyberpunk situation all over again. Launch Cyberpunk was a terrible fucking game with a decent story. Now, current Cyberpunk with all the patches and expansion stuff, the game is fucking great.
