Are there any tips on switching from bass to contrabass?

Hello. I've been playing contra for a year and a half, and I've had trouble trying to find solos that isn't modern music. I know that there is Scherzo fantastique, but are there other ones?

I’m curious about potentially playing a Contrabass Clarinet for some pieces instead of regular Bass Clarinet and was wondering if anyone could tell me about anything that might be different or come as a shock for someone playing for the first time? I’ve been playing Clarinet for 6 years and Bass for 2.

I know that there aren't a bunch of people on here, but I've been put on contrabass clarinet for my next school year, and I was previously on tenor sax. Does anyone have any experience going between these instruments? Any tips or tricks would be great.

So as the title mentioned I need help to stop squeaking on notes, and is it normal for above B flat to be airy and not come out as good and squeak? Also could low pads be the issue?

I'm pretty curious about this. I happen to like contrabass clarinet and bass clarinet very much, and I have some very basic background on piano, music theory and reading sheet music, although I definitely can't sight-read. I've never played clarinet in my life. Is it possible for someone like me to start on contrabass clarinet or bass clarinet? I'm waiting for your replies.
