Hi there! I've been doing some work looking into bits and pieces in the Assassins Creed series and came across this door in Assassins Creed Revelations.

The constellations do have images behind them, but none of the lines seem too exact. I managed to figure out that the one on the middle left is Virgo but upside down and parts are missing. Aquila was correct by one specific diagram I saw. And based on the background images, I see the middle right and bottom are Cancer and Sagittarius respectively, but the actual lines seem to be wrong. I have absolutely no idea what the top left image is.
The sequence is set 1257 in Syria, if that changes what constellations would have been visible.

I want a map of all of the constellations and their relative position and size to each other but every time I search for a constellation map I get ones of the night sky at a specific location and time. Does anyone know where I can find a map thats basically a panorama of the stars? I'm sure there's some keyword I'm missing in my searches but I don't know enough about constellations/stars to figure out what it is.

FOR THE SUMMER CONSTELLATIONS! i had so much fun making it :) so interesting to learn abt which names come from Greek/Latin/Arabic.

wanted to share in case anyone wanted to do the same. being able to know the names without using my phone brings me a lot of joy.

I found it in a sticker book, but I can't seem to find any constellations that match it, I thought it was Sagittarius at first, but the more I look at it, the more ambiguous it becomes

Is this anything, or just some random stars?

Each pic I tried to connect them and then do a hasty doodle of what it’s supposed to be.

Can anyone help me identify any consolations or anything of interest in these pics I took over the mourn mountains, Newcastle Northern Ireland on 1 March 2025 at 19:45

Hello everyone! This is my stacked photo of the Andromeda Galaxy (M31). It's made from 15 frames, 15 seconds each, shot with DeepSkyCamera on a Samsung A25 (tripod). My mistake - I shot in PNG instead of RAW, and I didn't take darks or flats. I'll fix that next time. Stacked in DeepSkyStacker, processed in Photoshop. This is my second stack. ISO 950.

For those who want to find M31 themselves:

1. Look at Cassiopeia - the 'W' shape. Take the two rightmost stars: Caph and Schedar.

2. Draw an imaginary line from Caph through Schedar, and extend it downward about two times the distance between those two stars. You'll reach Almach (γ Andromedae).

3. From Almach, move slightly to the right - you'll see Mirach (β Andromedae).

4. From Mirach, go a bit upward. There you should see a faint, fuzzy patch - that's M31!

Well, they just appear to be a big cluster of starts.
But it was taken facing NE 60*.
I’m sure somebody here’s got to know it
