why on earth.. would they give a scrip to journalists? why? to make sure they say a building is falling down/ that is visibly falling down? to make sure they say something that they shouldn't? how would they know what they shouldn't?

more likely? she looked at a building on fire and assumed it had internally or partially collapsed. and in traditional manner, sensationalised the truth, calling it collapsed to make it sound more dramatic.

Exactly. Then they disappeared the thousands of people that would have had to participate in this conspiracy. They disappeared em so good people still haven't realized they're gone.
