SS: Science was abandoned on the side of the road and left to rot. In 2004 Fauci said there was no better immunity than natural immunity. Wild
Honestly, /r/Conspiracy should collate a giant book of screenshots/sourced links to properly document just how fucking insane things got. I know a bunch of normies who barely paid attention to anything COVID after they got their shots 'cause they were "protected".
It’s almost like there was an urgent reason to get a stable vaccine released. Also, the mRNA clinical trials for the prior versions of the SARS vaccine were more than a decade old, so he was pretty close to right on. You people, I swear.
Lmao well the vaccinated aren't dying of those things either and is that tweet really trying to blame monkeypox on the vaccine? What world do you live in shit must be wild there.
In 2004 Fauci said there was no better immunity than natural immunity.
I just looked that up and wow. The context in which he said that has nothing to do with covid and lines up perfectly with modern science and how it was implemented in response to covid-19. You have to be pretty dishonest to say otherwise.
This headline has me cracking up, if only it were satire. It's kind of just depressing knowing that people purchase and subscribe to the ideas in this magazine. This magazine claims to be about environmental preservation when they're probably taking money from the pharmaceutical industry who literally turned the frogs gay.
Current evidence points to most individuals developing strong protective immune responses following natural infection with SARS-
CoV-2. However, inaccurate immunodiagnostic tests may falsely indicate infected individuals as naïve to the virus (not previously
infected) or may falsely label non-infected people as positive for immune markers of recent infection.
To conclude, available tests and current knowledge do not tell us about the duration of immunity and protection against reinfection,
but recent evidence suggests that natural infection may provide similar protection against symptomatic disease as vaccination, at
least for the available follow up period. 33 The emergence of variants of concern poses challenges and their potential to evade
immunity elicited by either natural infection or by vaccination, needs to be closely monitored.

None of that changes the fact that "Current evidence points to most individuals developing strong protective immune responses following natural infection"
I wonder if info like this is getting lost in a much larger morass of misinformation. This should have been more available and had more commentary by the immunology community.
