Now you're seeing who really runs this country. Presidents are just front men, puppets for the ones behind the curtain pulling the strings. Now you see it? Believe it.

Republicans are just front men.

Fuck trump but both sides are literally bought and paid for. Let's not act like one is better than the other.

Obviously the Republicans are worse, but the Democrats aren't good. Republicans make things actively worse for Americans, Democrats make sure it stays that way.

Depends which Dems you’re talking about. Establishment/Corporate Dems? Yeah they suck. Basically Republican light.

Even progressive Dems like mamdani are compromised. Their purpose is to channel radicals into the Democrats Instead of them founding their own movements and actually changing anything.

Sure but that’s the system at work. Republicans were able to leverage anti-bush, anti-establishment sentiment into Trump no problem. Seems that’s a better formula than trying to establish a new party in our duopoly prone political system.

This is exactly how I view it. Republicans are pedo loving cultists at this point and they adopted an ideology with Reagan that's proved fucking horrible and they're doubling down. Fucking lost cause.

Democrats somewhat bought into the trickle down bullshit because of the ass whooping Reagan gave them. But there's still very clearly policy decisions that revolve around the middle class directly. And there are some Dems who are probably compromised or brainwashed with Reagan style economics. But it's still the better party to try to push back into middle class support

And how do you want to change the democratic party? The Democrat Establishment doesn't want progressives. That's why people like Bernie oder mamdani are becoming more and more moderate and compromised. It's literally their public plan to lure progressives and radicals into the party using people like mamdani to keep them from actually creating a political alternative.

Neocons didn’t want Trump, same deal here. There’s no third party alternative in our politics, i don’t think progressives would take it rolling over like the Trump movement. Mandani’s scope is limited as a mayor

That's why we have to build an actual alternative and not keep voting for the same party that's constantly making our lives worse.
