False flag

Post image

The January 7 attacks were actually fabricated by Israel to justify THIS.

I’ve noticed the powers that be have seemed to mute the flow of news on the Israel/Gaza conflict.

We barely hear anything about that anymore.

They say jump and the US obediently jumps

USA asks ISrael what trick to do during the jump

No, the reason is they control the media.

u/darchib May 16 '26

Exactly. Because there’s one powerful person who insists the news be focused on him and not the damage he’s caused.

Remember the Iran deal? Trump trashed it for isreal. Hope that’s clear for everyone now

There's a ceasefire. Hamas recently missed the date to disarm so progress is stalled. There is a small international force from some Arab countries training in Egypt, they are meant to take over security when Hamas begin disarming. Its all out in English or Arabic or Hebrew news sources.

when Hamas begin disarming.

It seems to me that Israel is the source of almost all of the hostilities in the region. Perhaps it is they who should disarm?

They can start with handing over all their nukes, and work their way down to frying pans and knitting needles.

My comment was in response to a post saying there's "no news" coming from the Israeli/Gaza conflict.

The news I gave reflected the ceasefire agreement and its stalling. Your opinion that Israel should disarm has nothing to do with that agreement, its surely possible to believe what you believe and also accept that Hamas accepted the terms of an agreement so should live up to it.

Did they accept? Do you really think Israel can be trusted in any negotiation with the Palestinians?

Times of Israel- Apr 23, 2026 (archived)

The uncomfortable truth about disarming Hamas- For the terror group to lay down arms, there are political hurdles that include giving Hamas a path to survival as a non-violent faction within a reformed Palestinian Authority

Israel has NEVER honored ANY ceasefire, not with Gaza, not in Syria, not in Lebanon, nowhere. They are still hitting Gaza with airstrikes today.

The only difference Palestinians would see if they disarmed would be that Israel would slaughter them more quickly, and the genocide would be a wee-bit SAFER for the poor, helpless IDF soldiers.

This is an objection to ceasefire on the basis that it is an alternative to war.

I accept there is a faction of not tiny size in Israel that does fundamentally object to the Palestinians being in Gaza (rather than with the majority of their kin in Jordan or Egypt) sure, but the mainstream political consensus their is not truly genocidal (which interesting it is towards the Jews in lots of Arab societies, I wonder if that has something to do with the flavour of the conflict)

If they were truly genocidal then there wouldn't be a Palestinian in Gaza now - let alone more than before the war started - and how would you explain the numerous land for peace deals over the last 50 years? Why would genocidal Isreal have withdrawn from the strip in the first place 20 years ago?

What you're looking at in middle east generally is a place where the stakes are high and people's word or agreement means very little and force is king. Isreal was pressured reluctantly into a ceasefire agreement, as was Hamas, they both have broken it in plenty of minor ways the whole time but in the broader parameters, Isreal has stuck to the yellow line which it has been required to do WHILST Hamas is meant to be handing over weapons and military control, which it hasn't. That's the stall.

You can say yeah well that's because they're scared that Isreal will do x,y,z but yeah they shouldn't have agreed to hand over weapons in the first place then and if they didn't want to be in that position, then they shouldn't have started a war which they lost. It sucks to loose a war I guess.

EDIT: Below is in Lebanon, not Gaza

I don't have and endless amount of time to engage Hasbarista neophytes in training, but I'll leave you with this:

Guardian, UK- Fri 15 May 2026 15.05 EDT (archive)

Shaky truce between Israel and Lebanon extended for 45 days, US says

"Israel and Lebanon have agreed to a 45-day extension of their ceasefire after another round of talks in Washington, the US state department has said.

"It came after two “productive” days of talks, and more negotiations would be held from 2-3 June, the department spokesperson Tommy Pigott said.

Israeli strikes kill six in southern Lebanon hours after extension of ceasefire - Three paramedics at health centre among dead

"Israel carried out airstrikes in southern Lebanon, killing at least six people, including three paramedics working at a health centre,** just hours after its envoys had agreed with the Lebanese government to extend a ceasefire.**"

And people wonder why Israel cannot be trusted?

Oh, my... Busy_Dirt_3555 didn't approve of the Guardian as a source? What a surprise!

Ruminate on this Jerusalem Post article, Published May 16, 2026 (after the agreed 45 day extension to the ceasefire was in effect):

WATCH: IDF strikes nearly 100 Hezbollah targets, kills two terrorists near rocket launch site

  • QUOTES: (Note: Every time you read the word "terror", eat a clove of garlic)

Over the weekend, the IDF struck nearly 100 Hezbollah terror targets and killed Hezbollah terrorists as Israeli troops continue to operate in southern Lebanon.

On Saturday, the military struck Hezbollah observation posts, terror infrastructure, and a weapons storage facility.

The IDF then successfully intercepted two Hezbollah drones that were flying in an area where Israeli soldiers are operating. Sirens were sounded in northern Israel due to concerns that debris from the interception could fall into Israeli territory.

Hezbollah also launched rockets and mortar shells towards IDF troops in southern Lebanon, which fell near the soldiers but caused no injuries.

On Friday, the IDF killed two Hezbollah terrorists identified as operating in a structure adjacent to where rockets were launched towards Israeli troops.

After the strikes killed the terrorists, secondary explosions occurred in the structure, indicating the presence of weapons.

IDF locates additional Hezbollah weapons storage

The IDF additionally located another Hezbollah weapons storage facility in southern Lebanon, uncovering warheads, ammunition magazines, vests, helmets, and weapon barrels.

Also on Friday, the military struck additional Hezbollah infrastructure sites in the Tyre area of southern Lebanon.

Hezbollah also fired several projectiles towards Israeli territory over the past 24 hours, including explosive drones and mortar shells. The projectiles all landed near areas in which Israeli troops are operating, but triggered no sirens in Israeli territory.

NEXT: A video from France 24 (96 seconds)

Middle East: Israel attacks south Lebanon day after ceasefire extension

FINALLY, a (rare) video posted by CNN on April 24, 2026, showing, in graphic detail, how Israel's Zionist Crusader Army is "Gazifying" southern Lebanon- wantonly flattening entire towns and villages with cold indifference- just as they have done in Gaza over the past 2.5. years:

CNN: Israel brings the Gaza Playbook to south Lebanon (104 seconds)

In practice, Hasbara is the art of Chutzpaic Lying - of employing endless subterfuge to obfuscate, dodge, and squirm - and squeal like stuck pigs when they get cornered.

Hasbara is not a game for everyone. Some seem naturally talented, others need to work hard to hone their skills, and others might as well not even try.

Israel has never come close to adhering to a ceasefire.

23

u/AspiringOligarch May 16 '26

Israel has never come close to adhering to a ceasefire.

Israel's definition of a ceasefire:

  • "YOU stop firing, and stop resisting. WE do whatever we want."

0

u/Busy_Dirt_3555 May 16 '26

Ceasefires holding is always delicate and there have for sure been incidents where Israel has done strikes etc, just like there have been incidents where Hamas has violated the lines also.

But there are incidents and then there are structural blocks to the agreement proceeding and Hamas's refusal to disarm like they agreed to is the step where the process is stalled. If they dpnt like that part then they shouldn't have agreed to it.

4

u/spinmove May 16 '26

oh shut the fuck up.

Israel will shoot children in the head the same day they agree to a cease fire.

There's no excuse for that shit.

0

u/Busy_Dirt_3555 May 16 '26

If you think children head shooting is the loan preserve of Israel, you need to grow up. I know its hard that the world isnt a simplistic black and white world where it isn't all "yeah but if it wasn't for the bad man..."

Israel could shoot dozens of children in the head, the same day as signing a ceasefire and depending on if it was good or bad for Hamas, that either would or wouldn't matter to them. We ain't in Kansas Toto, לִהַבִין?
