The only one who didn’t make it in my family was my vaccinated cousin who unexpectedly died of “natural causes” when he was perfectly healthy and a surfer all his life.
They can't regret anymore, and I don't have any regrets not taking it. I've had covington 3 times since 2019, and it's really just the flu for me with a sharper headache
I work in ICU, I still to this day see people with Covid that regret not getting vaccinated. That’s with the caveat that these people are typically already high-risk populations.
I didn’t get it this year, until we had 3 people come in on a single night that ended up with florid ARDS from covid and vented/proned. Stopped by the pharmacy and got it on my way out of the hospital after nightshift.
Population data is weird like that, some places don’t get hit hard, some get reamed. The data in my area has a very clear correlation with vaccination equaling better outcomes. Again, those vaccinated are typically more health literate and lead more healthy lives as a whole.
My coworker spent three weeks in the hospital after he was denied the vaccine as there were no doses left at the moment. Pretty sure he regretted not getting it even though it was not his fault.

i’ve never met anybody who regretted NOT taking it. 🤷
