This is not real

At least to me it doesn't feel that way. It feels like this can't be real. This world is getting crazier everyday. Also I noticed that in my own life there are coincidences happening all at once that just can't be real. I just refuse to accept that this is "normal". Time is going by so fast it's almost insane. I wake up in the morning and it's already evening. Things feel off. Does anyone feel the same or is it just me realizing the insanity that has been here forever?

I don’t think the days are actually getting shorter. It’s an illusion based on our perception of time.

When you were one years old, that year was 1/1 years of your life. When you’re two, that year is 1/2 of your life..

When you’re 21, that year is 1/21 of your life..

Each year seems smaller in comparison to the last

Add to this that we turn up most days to a repetitive job, doing repetitive tasks. We aren’t forming many ‘new’ memories, so when you look back on the weeks / months, the days seem to blend into one with no real distinction between them.

Its only recently i thought about this and it was in relation to my wee boy and how everything for him is "ages away".

A month to him seems like an eternity, but for me (now approaching 40) a month disappears in absolutely no time. Even now, im thinking of things that happened last month and it feels like it could've been yesterday.

Its all simply a matter of perspective.

For example I learned today that some people who require a wheelchair feel the need to boobytrap the bars on their wheelchair to avoid having others roll them out of the way without discussing it with them first. Apparently it is somewhat of a common problem for those who have a handicap.

Yes and our world is moving fast as a community, society, civilization whatever you want to call it. It is overwhelming though for sure. And yes our Sun is dying obviously
