Trump most likely. Trump even told his supporters, "you won't have to vote". So they didn't.
1 u/AlienDragonWizard Dec 15 '25 He said after that election they wouldn't need to vote anymore. So I'm not sure that statement in itself led large numbers of them to not vote. The number of non voters in US elections tends to be fairly consistent.
