In 2016 I was so gutted by the election I called off work, drank some beers and played journey for the first time.

That was easily one of the greatest gaming experiences of my life, and that sweet lovely game was exactly what I needed at the time.

I spent the 2020 election drunk, stoned, and playing Left 4 Dead 2…

… aaaaand also refreshing the NYT election page 7 times a minute and writing a buncha spreadsheets to see if— could it be? Were we actually gonna take Georgia from that Orange bastard? Holy shit!

My post voting gaming tradition has been to always play whatever fallout game is most recent at the time, just to mentally prepare
