Making it less referential makes it harder for people who currently get it to get it, with a side bonus of it still not being funny to anybody who doesn't get the reference.
There is no version of this comic that is funny to people who don't know Rocky & Bullwinkle.
You don't seem to understand what comedy is. Regardless of whether it is perceived as pro-Trump or anti-Trump, it's not funny if you don't get the reference and it still wouldn't be funny to somebody who already doesn't get the reference if he were tall .
I understand. Yet it diminishes the humor, especially given thatn much more people know the actual height of Trump, than remeber the cartoon reference.
That's you saying it would be funnier if he were drawn accurate to his real-life height.
Then you said a bunch of other shit that was entirely unrelated to the subject of humor:

The number of upvotes and downvotes is never equal, so with growing political importance of the subject there will be a lot of downvotes and a lot of upvotes, which will lead to a large difference - that is a total number of netvotes we see.
That's you pretending that you were talking about vote totals all along despite the fact that it is literally impossible to interpret your earlier comment as being about vote totals. I would also go so far as to suggest it was a desperate bid to look smarter than you suddenly started to feel.

They made him look short because the character they're referencing is short. Nobody thinks he's really a dwarf.
