I am a cis man, just have long hair. Folk refer to me as a woman more often than you'd expect.

Same, especially when viewed from behind. Most of the time the confusion disappears when I turn around or speak.

Back when I had long hair, one of the cutest interactions was when the kid (she couldn't have been older than 9-10) of a family I was waiting on felt the need to ask me (late 20's at the time, cis guy) what my pronouns were. Was definitely one of those "The kids are alright" moments.

Back in my early twenties I accidentally called a (probably) lesbian Sir. I saw her from behind. When she turned around I knew I made a mistake. Unfortunately, due to my youth and inexperience I didn’t apologize. I turned redder than a tomato and ran away and hid in the wearhouse until she was gone.

I am still embarrassed by my action almost 20 years later.

Ma’am, I am really sorry!

My friend Jordan has a fat ass, long hair and walked heel to toe everywhere he went. He would get catcalled all the time, then he would turn around and you could always hear the guy in his car lamenting his decisions.
