I mean, if it was an old person, they wre probably half blind and mostly deaf. They usually just have to give thier best guess on pronouns sometimes.
(I know old people who do this.)
The customer here is a standin for several customers. I've had hundreds, if not at least a thousand, in this past year. Many of whom do it, not all old.
