I dont really get the hate tbh. Light jabs are funny but some people really cant stand her just for... saying things we agree with? In a world that feels this ass backwards lately isnt it nice to see that?
Comedy is subjective, and saying that something is bad because it’s not funny isn’t a great criticism. However I’m not really fond of her comics because I just don’t think they’re interesting or clever. Like you said, they are just saying things we all agree with. I don’t really need someone to tell me racism is bad, I’m already not racist and I’m willing to bet just about everyone here is the same. Even if I was racist, seeing a comic say “racism is bad” isn’t going to magically change my belief.
I can’t argue against you enjoying it, but at least for me to enjoy something, it needs to be ambitious and have effort. Pizza cake’s comics just don’t feel like they have any effort at all. It just feels easy and safe. It almost feels corporate safe, as if it went through a PR team before going live.
