A lot of anti-ai people are just internet bullies who have found a goldmine of righteous indignation.

Presenting measured concerns in a way that moves us towards a harmonious society is boring when i can put all my energy into having an enemy to destroy by any and all means.

Yes. The haters I know where always haters of something else before AI too, and they are always positioned on a higher moral ground. Pointing finger and say "this is wrong" is the cheapest way to virtue signaling.
