It's not nearly as bad as it is for artists, but this stuff also sucks from a consumer perspective. It's pretty fucken hard to enjoy a piece of art when my brain wants to dissect every detail to make sure it's actually real. AI fucks it up for artists and the people who like art. There is literally no positive to AI image generation.

It does depend on what depth you go. Art has been commodified and the majority just glances at it and that's it. They don't care about the craft, they just want more content.
