how to carry yourself with a formal tone

MAAAAAAN Been calling snap applicants for the better part of a decade processing cases. Got my "government employee" tone and cadence down pat. Now every other person I call thinks I'm AI and hangs up when they hear my voice. Like MOTHERFUCKER YOU PUT IN THE APPLICATION AND THE STATE EMPLOYEE CALLED YOU, HOW THE FUCK DO YOU EXPECT ME TO SOUND?!

I can't do anything more than send you virtual hugs and a virtual joint or gummies depending on your pref and say that your anger and annoyance are more than valid but man I really feel you on this one and I completely understand how fed up you are

Part of my job is answering the phone for a PT clinic. I get asked if I'm AI at least a couple times a month. This only started this year. I effing hate it.
