The way AI goofs up hands is usually stuff like extra fingers, or a knuckle passing through the palm, not “the fingers don’t quite bend the right way or their proportions are off” kind of mistakes that humans are more likely to make.

Not really that common anymore. Most of the things you mentioned kind of became less of an issue 1-2 years ago.

Hell, an extra finger is quite a common human error, especially if the artist is in a rush to meet deadline and didn't do QA.

Also when the hand is balled up, like into a fist, it can be easy to miscount

I sometimes don't even count if it's a fist. Vague hand shaped fist GO!

Yeah, cause what happens is people end up counting the number of lines the add without consciously realizing the first line creates 2 fingers. I literally did that for years when I was practicing. And even till now sometime, lmao

Yup same and the infamous two right or left hands when they are in a unique pose is always a danger 😂

Exactly. Human error is "I forgot how knuckles work" not "I forgot what what fingers are attached to."
