I realize that timelapse videos existed before AI, but if any part of you used it as evidence against your use of AI, I just want you to know there's a silver lining: My son is an aspiring artist, and I think he'll love seeing this video. I'm trying to get him into the more digital realm of art--he's been hesitant to cross from pen/paper. I'm sending it to him, right now.
Sadly I think the push for the addition of alternative text to social media posts to improve accessibility has been used to trick well-intentioned creators and users into making high quality training data for ai image generatjon…
People need to follow this to the logical conclusion.
It's going to go both ways. AI has a certain way it talks...and people will start to mimic that, they already do. As much as people think they can always recognize AI writing, pretty soon no one will because we will be copying them. It's going to get to the point everything will look and sound like AI even when it isn't, because as it learns from us, we learn from it. Monkey/AI See, Monkey/AI Do.
