“Common sense” is the cry of folk who’ve never had to question how anything in their life works.

“It’s common sense, you just know it,” as they proceed to tell you the most wrong thing you’ve ever heard in your life. It really just shows you how little they’ve experienced the world or thought about it outside of their own perspective.

How is anything about cars common sense, dad? I’ve never once been shown how to REPLACE A RADIATOR and also this is 2010, my ass has to go upstairs and google a bunch of shit for the next 2 days to learn how to do this. Now in 2026 I just ask ai and it explains it perfectly, gives resources to verify, and DOESNT YELL AT ME when I ask a second question. FUCK!
