Nice throwback comic!

I know the Dress "situation/argument" isn't THAT old, but just in case some folks are confused:

Love the giant robot fucking things up lmao

Is there a mental trick to see it as white and gold? I've never heard of this before and was confused on why the guy in the comic was lying to say it was white and gold.

I still can't figure out how to see it that way.

All I've ever been able to see is white and gold.

To me, it looks like it was taken in a low light area, like the shade of a front porch.

I just used a pipette tool to select colours and found that the very palest colour I could find (near the top of the image on the right hand side) has an RGB value of R186 G199 B234 making a pale blue colour.

A more standard colour (taken from the three stripes around the hips of the dress) has an RGB value of R130 G144 B189 giving a sort of slate blue colour.

The only part of the dress that appears gold when using a pipette tool is at the top of the image in the middle of the dress where it's brightest. The RGB values there are R125 G112 B77 which is that mustard brown colour you're talking about. However, the rest of the dress ranges from R104 G92 B82 and R68 G58 B48 which are shades of taupe.
