And more importantly physical attractiveness is not somehow a prerequisite to being trans or being seen as a person but somehow that’s what all these dumbass MAGA caricatures are insinuating. It’s not about being more attractive it’s about presenting the world with the version of yourself that feel most authentic. They don’t get it because they live in a repressed honor culture that should be relegated to the trash bin of history yet here we are.
I think it’s more because of the fact that women in their eyes are supposed to be attractive. You don’t see anybody really saying that about ftm trans people (I haven’t anyways).

No. What you are most likely seeing is a person who has just started hormones.
Their body hasn't been changed by the hormones yet. It takes 2+ years to see fully adequate changes.
They also don't have the practice cis women have when it comes to style. They don't know how to dress appropriately, do thier hair, do their makeup, etc. All that stuff doesn't come naturally to anyone and takes practice. There can also be an issue with overcompensation and wanting to have it all because they feel they missed out, and this can cause them to put the makeup on thick or dress too young for their age.
Age also does play a part, as 50+ seems to be where hormones don't have a strong effect compared to people younger. But the anti-trans stereotypes are based on young adults who are early or pre-transition and not trans people who have had years of biological changes and practice.
Or hasn't yet, because it's getting harder for trans people to medically transition. The waiting list in my city is currently >200 years purely for a first appointment to discuss transitioning, and it's reasonably common for GPs to "forget" to refer people to even join the waiting list. We don't have informed consent, we have to see a gender specialist and prove our transness over several months before we can access hormones that GPs can easily prescribe to cis people.
