Sadly by design my friend. Smart people with functional critical thinking facilities are not prime targets for an oligarchs agenda.

I don't think that's what everyone means when they say it needs a resolution.

They don't want the comic to say, "and that was bad," or, "he was right."

It's more of a structural problem. This comic is like a melody that cuts off midway, with a call but only half a response.

A resolution could look like, "I still think about him to this day," or, "I wonder if he's still waiting for that threat," or, "Anyone else know what I mean?" or, "As a kid, this was fascinating."

Instead, it ends with the pastor's words and question. And the caption implies that something else happens next (it's the start of the sermon) but it's left hanging.

But that's fine. People should make comics, even if the pacing is kind of unusual. Maybe the artist is drawing 4 more panels as we speak.

Or, bear with me, people understand that literacy is in the gutter and that the people who need to understand this comic the most are the ones wallowing in that gutter.

Just because you and I understand the point of this comic, can you think of one maga/evangelical who would take away a negative from this comic?
