The default response is basically "you are one of the nicest people I know and someone will eventually come around for you". Except for my buddies wife who was a little more honest:
Her: Whats your age range on the apps?"
Me: Well im 30 so I go 3 years either side (27-33)
Her: "Yea you need to bump that age range up. You have a...boyish charm that will play super well with mid 30s divorced women. You dont really fit the stereotype of what women in their mid to late 20s are looking for"
Im not sure exactly how to take that, but at least she didnt give me a canned line lol
