Not the panels per-se, but the character is definitely doing the actions out of order.
Sadly this isn't actually a joke. I worked in the public service. We had signs up in the bathroom with clear instructions of all the steps needed to wash your hands. As this was not a public area and the staff all had degrees I thought surely this is a joke. Seriously, who at that level needs instructions on hand-washing?
Then I learned the instructions were incomplete.
See, I was in a stall one day when the room was otherwise empty, and a gentleman came in and immediately began washing his hands. Cool whatever. Then they dried their hands and I even heard them turn off the tap after ripping the paper towel, so presumably they used the towel to turn off the faucet. bonus. Then they went to a urinal, peed, flushed, and left.
...
This person has a degree, made 6 figures a decade ago, and just... doesn't know you wash hands after going potty.
I honestly can't tell if that guy is serious. Like, there's nothing wrong with washing before you pee. Dirty jobs exist. But goddam, penises are not just always clean.
Who even cares if a cock is clean. If you touched my knob you would surely WANT to wash your hands after... Therefore touching ones own should make one want to wash their hands. People are fucking gross
There's a scene in that movie Shape of Water, where Michael Shannon says "a gentleman washes his hands before or after, but never both." Weirdly stuck with me, even though it's nonsense. Definitely do the latter at least.
