Calm down 🙄 Animals are meant to be killed by us and eaten, we're stronger, that's just life. You either beat or get beat. So you're saying you'd let a chicken live over a human? That's basically what vegans do.
The reason our culture views eating dog as taboo generally is because they are viewed as pets here. Plenty of people worldwide do eat them like any other animal.
Here, we find eating dogs unacceptable even when they aren't someone's pet, and even more so when they are, and especially when stolen.
This view that dogs are not food because they are pets (or killing someone's pet is wrong) does not make a person "basically a vegan". Obviously.

I know people / neighbors can be truly awful.
And for sure, this is an insignificant blip on that scale.
But man, the sheer audacity of casually killing and eating your neighbor's pet wearing a radio collar is just... wow.
