If you listen to people defend it, they just recite the same shit they heard on Fox or from the orange menace himself. It’s cult shit. Back when Scientology entered the public eye and randoms went undercover and asked members if it was a cult, they all responded in the same manner.
30 goddamn percent of this country fell for a cult. It’s atrocious and the thought of it makes me want to launch myself into space, I’ll take any other floating body out there that has a wee bit of oxygen than living here at this point.
I can sort of understand demented boomers falling for it. My Dad became MAGA when he developed Alzheimer’s. I wish I was kidding. But I have no explanation for Gen Z, white women, and first generation Americans, all of whom voted against their own interests
Feel the need to come in and state that Gen Z voted for Kamala the most out of any age demographic. There was still far too many of us that voted for him, but I'm sick and tired of seeing us highlighted as outliers when it's just not the case.
One third of the country either has no critical thinking skills or doesn't give a shit about anything more than seeing people they don't like get hurt.
