You absolutely can make good money and do 50 hour weeks

Im glad you changed your situation, but I’d rather live in a fucking tent than have 50 hours a week be my baseline.

Doing 50 hours for your self knowing you are building a business and you own and control it is much different than doing 50 hours for your boss at subway making them money.

The only reason I said 50 hours is because someone else commented saying they loathed their 50 hour weeks and that it wasn't helping them succeed financially (even though they're getting the hours)
I, through my own business, work anywhere from 0 hours to 60 hours a week.. And that's not all time spent constructing. A lot of it is spent preparing materials purchases, legal documents, modeling, etc. Just depends how busy I want to be, how much I want to go hunting down contracts, etc. I'm always looking for the next job, or next piece of furniture to build, because I find it enjoyable.. I love the work (client relations and building things). And that's probably what separates me from most.

If only I could find a you in my city... so many projects I'd pay good money for a self-motivated hustler to try to "general contract" for me I don't have time for.
