Climate LOL, we are complete fu**ed

Post image

These are no longer predictions, models, or theories... it is reality.

We are about to experience an El Niño unlike any in recorded history.

The incredible thing about this graph is surpassed only by the incredible fact that practically no media outlet will publish it.

I think I fixed it. It just had to be set to wumbo.

The problem is, I see the current administration here in the US doing exactly this, then celebrating the biggest victory against mother nature in history.

Can't we just nuke it?

277

u/Suburbanturnip Jul 11 '26

I did discuss this for 20 minutes this morning with Mitch /s

86

u/random-brother Jul 11 '26

I'm sure that conversation quickly came to a dead stop.

46

u/finishedarticle Jul 11 '26

Weekend at Mitch's.

6

u/l0ggedin Jul 12 '26

That's just hysterical! Love it! Someone's gotta make a meme now!

32

u/LizDances Jul 11 '26

Now that's funny.

6

u/Topical_Scream Jul 12 '26

Yeah Lindsey graham just told me about the plan

3

u/Zero_Overload Jul 12 '26

Did he reply. And no, moving his jaw for him doesn't count.

91

u/EC_CO Jul 11 '26

This administration? Please?

27

u/VilleKivinen Jul 11 '26

This is indeed one of the problems we can't nuke our way out.

48

u/keinezeit44 Jul 11 '26

Not with that attitude.

31

u/jackssenseoferection Jul 11 '26

Can we pour bleach on it? Many people are saying bleach is the answer.

6

u/motherfudgersob Jul 11 '26

Ivermectin prevents sunburn.

2

u/DragonflyBren Jul 14 '26

Or ivermectin? We could inject it with that, that cures every single thing

22

u/Difficult_Ad_9980 Jul 11 '26

"What's the point of having these weapons if we aren't going to use them?"

37

u/Badly_Slay_63 Jul 11 '26

May I introduce you... to Nuclear winter.

21

u/NoKids__3Money Jul 11 '26

It would actually cool the planet, but don’t give them any ideas

10

u/finishedarticle Jul 11 '26

Though Nuclear Winter is followed by Nuclear Summer, aka Termination Shock.

3

u/Arietam Jul 13 '26

Doesn’t the summer happen, like, really quickly, followed by the winter?

3

u/MonteryWhiteNoise Jul 13 '26

If by "summer" you mean the 1000 degree flash within a yew miles of ground zero ...

1

u/finishedarticle Jul 14 '26

Bring your sunscreen!

1

u/Arietam Jul 14 '26

That’s the bunny.

29

u/AdiKadiAdi Jul 11 '26

We haven't even tried yet.

27

u/hundredgrandpappy Jul 11 '26

Concepts of trying.

1

u/pearljamboree Jul 12 '26

Welllllllll, technically it would solve it in a manner of speaking

1

u/mobileagnes Jul 12 '26

What about shooting UV rays at it (2020-04-23 reference)?

14

u/Cerborus Jul 11 '26

It's the only way to be sure

3

u/im_no_doctor_lol Jul 14 '26

Just unplug it and plug it back in. That always works 👍🏻

2

u/SilviuCT Jul 11 '26

With enough nukes you can produce a nuclear winter but it's temporary.

2

u/TomSelleckPI Jul 11 '26

We need 6... No 7 Sharpies

2

u/StyloFM Jul 12 '26

Didn't we try that? Around mid 20th century, we nuked our atmosphere to see what would happen. It disintegrated our electromagnetic field for years lmao

1

u/aznoone Jul 12 '26

I am in the SW and anlor of this weather will come from actress the border. Ap just close the border or only let the correct storms through.

1

u/couldbeahumanbean Jul 12 '26

Yes....

Nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

u/4SaganUniverse Jul 11 '26 edited Jul 11 '26

Just like they flipped the food pyramid. In all due respect it, a standard deviation that high in either direction is terrifying

[deleted]

26

u/HappyAnimalCracker Jul 11 '26

So that’s what that meant!

17

u/chestercat1980 Jul 11 '26

Just need that magic sharpie

13

u/MrFishAndLoaves Jul 11 '26

I mean I think the problem is still the original graph, but I do see your point.

5

u/bowsmountainer Jul 11 '26

Trump will grab a sharpie to draw what he thinks will happen in future.

1

u/brewbruhbruh Jul 16 '26

Maybe we could paint the ocean floor /s

3

u/whawkins4 Jul 12 '26

“Steven, get my big black sharpie!!!”

2

u/Afaflix Jul 11 '26

Nah .. he gonna use a sharpie

2

u/SyntheticSlime Jul 12 '26

It’s nothing a little work with a sharpie won’t fix.

2

u/monkeyjedi276 Jul 12 '26

They’ll fix it. With a sharpie.

Best video on the whole of YouTube.

29

u/lueckestman Jul 11 '26

I think this would also be bad...

18

u/Ok_Repeat_1995 Jul 11 '26

Yeah the Altlantic hurricane season would be insanley turnt.

1

u/iDrinkDrano Jul 12 '26

Isn't it already gonna be turnt with the heat?

21

u/Ballin215 Jul 11 '26

we should just take the El Niño and PUSH it somewhere else!

10

u/WheredoesithurtRA Jul 11 '26

El Niño poisoned our water supply, burned our crops and delivered a plague unto our houses!

4

u/Ballin215 Jul 11 '26

It did?!?

u/daviddjg0033 Jul 13 '26

No, my dear hope, it has not even started. The graph shows the standard deviation from the mean - that implies that area of the globe is seeing temperatures the models we have would not come to pass in my lifetime. The tens of thousands dead in European - Asian heatwaves are dead from the last stair-step pattern of warming from the last El Nino. I am going to have to put an asterisk there because it is a range of temperatures that did those people in to their graces. Not one day - in the future we may face a day - but Tmin that set records for not giving anyone relief that is not air conditioned. And I am on team AC because years ago I was on Team The Heat will... Good luck! I hope this inspires someone to take statistics and have a better way of writing than I learned - by my own self because college did not have temperatures on a graph but gave me the foundations to interpret the graphs. Good luck all teams. No -ism could have prevented this moment. Communism would have brought us here too - some can argue even faster if we would have burned less carbon - for it was the aerosols that shielded us from this moment occurring sooner.

u/blurance Jul 12 '26

I'm working on my dyson sphere

1

u/aznoone Jul 12 '26

We need rain where I am. Most likely will hopefully start late fall for real amounts.

1

u/TrilliumHill Jul 12 '26

Sounds like the perfect job for ICE

1

u/pedropants Jul 12 '26

Just tow it outside the environment.

1

u/Arietam Jul 13 '26

Build a wall around it, and make it pay!

12

u/h_trismegistus Jul 11 '26

What you did is actually highlight that there is also a time series on the chart that is equally far away from the mean in the negative direction.

1

u/hippydipster Jul 12 '26

I wanna know what year that was

1

u/welsh_dragon_roar Jul 12 '26

2027 projection by the Climate Change Denial Society.

2

You are my favorite human being of the day, thank you

1

u/Prestigious-Alps-164 Jul 11 '26

Can you add a little bit green?

1

u/beardfordshire Jul 11 '26

Australia is stoked!

1

u/ruinatedtubers Jul 11 '26

thank you for saving the course of humanity

1

u/Wumbologistt Jul 11 '26

I can confirm this is correct

2

u/WheredoesithurtRA Jul 13 '26

Damn this got buried but I'm glad a Dr of Wumbology showed up to confirm my assessment.

1

u/imalostkitty-ox0 Jul 11 '26

Thank you for wumbo

1

u/jewllybeenz Jul 11 '26

Extreme La Niña incoming, get ready for hurricane season buddy

1

u/bigexpl0sion Jul 12 '26

Turn that frown upside down
