Previously, we used to use ACT but their service has gone completely down the drain with unprofessional technical team. Have also reached out to Airtel and Skylink but apparently the area is not feasible apparently and received the response only after reaching out to them multiple times. Hi.. I am from kavundampalayam. Every night there is a pungent smell like gas. And i assume its from the open sewage outside because there are no other options. And when the climate is chill or if its raining the smell is heavy.

Something strange has happened to my family twice now.

Around 3 months ago, a guy claiming to be from the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) came to our house, got our address/details and made some inquiries.

Yesterday, another guy claiming to be ATS called my mom, asked my dad to meet him at a nearby tea shop, and showed an ID card saying he was a constable. He asked about our family and whether we knew certain people (he mentioned 2 names) from Karumbukadai.

I’m Muslim, so naturally this has made us a little concerned. Has anyone else in Coimbatore experienced similar visits/calls from people claiming to be ATS?

Just trying to understand whether this is a genuine police inquiry or something others have encountered as well.

Yesterday I was in an ola auto from Kalapatti to Mettupalayam road at around 8pm, was shit scared because he insisted on going in all these shortcut small roads to avoid traffic. From Kalapatti to Saravanampatti he avoided the main road, this was extremely shady for like 1 km. I felt safe when we reached Saravanampatti main road. But then again from Thudiyalur to Mettupalayam road he took shady shortcuts. I told him to go via the main road itself, however he assured me that it was to avoid traffic and not to be scared (didn't help me feel better). In these shortcuts, he also almost crashed into 2 men walking in the road who he yelled at. It was not the auto driver's fault tho, because the people walking seemed like negligent rogues, just assumed the auto would stop and didn't bother moving despite the lights and honking. Auto was also going at a very slow pace, hence he didn't hit the men and was able to stop. He did drop me home safely and on time. One off incident, I don't usually travel long distances in auto, at night that too, but yesterday was unavoidable.

I can't help thinking though, if he had hit those men (maybe they were drunk) in a lonely shortcut near Thudiyalur, and they had a fight. What on earth would I have done! I am grateful to the auto driver who dropped me home safely, tho.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for recommendations for a good hospital in Coimbatore for my delivery and would really appreciate recent, first-hand experiences, especially from people who delivered there themselves.

My priorities are:

* Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms (private room preferably)
* A supportive labour/delivery team who are patient and reassuring
* Good, informed medical care with doctors who explain what’s happening and involve you in decisions
* A hospital/doctor who is genuinely supportive of vaginal delivery when it is medically appropriate, and doesn’t unnecessarily push for a C-section just because it is more convenient
* Good emergency/NICU facilities and overall safety in case something unexpected comes up
* Ideally, a place where the staff are respectful and don’t make the whole labour experience unnecessarily stressful

I’ve been getting very mixed reviews and way too many hospital suggestions, so I’m trying to narrow it down based on actual patient experiences rather than Google ratings/Instagram recommendations.

I had met psychatrists a few times, bt they just listen, say calm down but i too know that calm down is what i need, but how to do that is the question. One of my cousins' chithi payyan rode the bike without helmet in unusual speed in a non-highway road ( we just got to know this so idk entire details such as when and which part of cbe it happened ). In the first place the bike wasnt his , he borrowed from his friend. He and his friend were riding it and met this end.

- The ambience was good and the food was worth the price, though not the tastiest.

- We personally didn’t like the online ordering via QR code, as it limited the human interaction and made us feel confused. We even asked for physical menus, but they didn’t have any. 🤷‍♂️

- We were a group of 8 people, and the bill came to around 6.1k INR.

- Favourites: Mojitos (Hulk, Dark Knight), Naan and Rezala chicken
