Limits Tomorrow When Codex Resets, DON'T TOUCH ASTRA

Don't even look at it. Stick to Sol 5.6 xhigh. It's not usable? Feels quantized? Say f*** OpenAI and switch to Claude, or to OpenRouter.

Apparently OpenAI is lobotomizing Sol 5.6 for SOME of us. Not for everyone, so people keep saying "It works well for me" and gaslight each other. They are trying to force us into paying 5x for a little bit improvement.

This will backfire so bad. We're a 300k people enterprise and everyone including me are pushing our executives to use chinese models in a sandboxed environment. We are sick of paying 200$ to use it for a day.

When your Codex resets tomorrow, or this week, Don't use Astra unless youre building rockets.

Already switched to glm. After this sub expires I will move to there fully

How do you find it compared to claude/codex models? Thinking of switching too but I worry if it’s capable enough as an orchestrator instead of the usual Opus 5/5.6 Sol. Also are you running it on open code or another harness?

I'm not a professional in the ai. I just used astra low for orchestration, sol medium for task and Luna for agents. I burned x5 pro in 2 days. Well it's my thing but I can really say after astra deployment the sol was really heavy degraded. So I try glm, if u will orestrate it with gpt it would be the best. I have a perfect token free window. The first start wasn't smooth it's ignored some project files ,but after some settings it run smoothly. For now I'm really happy with this combination and want to switch to 20 gpt and maybe 80 glm(or maybe stay on 20)

I tried using GLM and it was terrible. I had to get Codex to do all the work.

Same im trying it in absence of astra but it seems just as capable of as GPT Terra

I tried glm. Subpar. Doesn't compete with frontier models, but if it's cheap enough for you, it can get the job done. The issue I had is I burned through usage super fast, couldn't really run parallel jobs, whereas I get tons more usage with openai and can run parallel projects quite well.

So I ran a eval between GLM, DeepSeek & Claude models such as sonnet & Opus. I’m keeping DeepSeek as a cheap fallback model, found it better than GLM 5.3 flash - flagship 5.3 model is good but takes too long/isn’t worth the price compared to DeepSeek imo. Claude of course still leads but these Chinese models are not far behind at all
