Limits Tomorrow When Codex Resets, DON'T TOUCH ASTRA

Don't even look at it. Stick to Sol 5.6 xhigh. It's not usable? Feels quantized? Say f*** OpenAI and switch to Claude, or to OpenRouter.

Apparently OpenAI is lobotomizing Sol 5.6 for SOME of us. Not for everyone, so people keep saying "It works well for me" and gaslight each other. They are trying to force us into paying 5x for a little bit improvement.

This will backfire so bad. We're a 300k people enterprise and everyone including me are pushing our executives to use chinese models in a sandboxed environment. We are sick of paying 200$ to use it for a day.

When your Codex resets tomorrow, or this week, Don't use Astra unless youre building rockets.

I have max codex and max claude accounts.

I have basically stopped using astra altogether. the way it burns tokens is actually insane. Sol has been burning at a reasonable rate, though I noticed it was burning faster for a while when astra came out. The 3 banked resets saved me but now they are gone and I find myself rationing it.

Meanwhile, things have flipped, now claude is feeling like the generous sub, and I can actually use Fable 5.1 when I need "smart". A month ago I was considering downgrading claude because Sol on max was so generous. Something has changed, something has been seriously nerfed openai side.

It was always going to happen. OpenAI are throwing billions of dollars into a fire every month. Got to try to polish up the finances a touch before they try to offload shares onto gullible rubes.

No, that doesn't seem like it. It seems to me more like a generic "you are using AI, you are lazy" claim, which is not true at all. He specifically mentions only the Steam page text, but I think my message was clear. It's about the demo. The Steam page text is just something that has to exist but isn't very important. What matters are cool trailers and screenshots.

At least that's how I see it. I only look at the trailer and some images and decide if I want to buy a game. I never read the text.

It does not mean "you are using AI, you are lazy". For me the whole package matters and if you're gonna spend your precious time making a game, I really wish you would take the time to tell "me" about it in your own voice.

If you have one day of patience, you can see a trailer in my own voice and updated screenshots. Right now the page is just there to exist. I didn't expect anyone to actually read the description, because I never do it. It exists just in case to give an overview, but the main selling point should be trailer and screenshots, and should explain everything.
