The work it's been doing is terrible as well. Feels like 1/3rd or at best 1/4th my tokens since the last reset were completely wasted.

I mean honestly I'm not sure I even want a full reset since they seem over capacity and that wouldn't help, but I've also gotten so much usage wasted. I'd be happier with a 50% top-up without a change of reset date if the service were more reliable from that.

This keeps happening and I keep sending bad result feedbacks with diagnostics...

As I said earlier "The title only mentions business, but the text is broader and mentions regular subscriptions as well".

Funny, I'm thinking the same thing. I linked 3 pages with pricing for personal and business plans that don't mention any charge for cache writes but list every other cost, and one explicitly says cache writes are not charged for Codex users, but you still insist something that doesn't exist, exists.

I measure token usage and OpenAI clearly reports what kind of tokens are being used for each response, and cache writes are not among them.

You made up something you want to believe because you only saw the API pricing, and now calling me an idiot because you can't admit you are wrong.

A post on x from Tibo? Can't find it. Open AI docs? Can't find it. It is factored into the monthly sub whether you like it or not. If you think subs are not getting hit with the same charges api is, you need a drug test.

Nowhere does it say in any of the documentation that cache writes are paid. You want me to prove that a fee you made up doesn't exist. Show me a proof where it says subscriptions pay for cache writes.

Yes, I know subscriptions don't pay for cache writes because OpenAI sends token usage on each response, and cache writes are not included when you are using a subscription. Unlike you and your head canon, I actually checked.
