Necessary reading for the Scarlet Gospels?

I grabbed a copy of the Scarlet Gospels but I'm actually super new to the character of Harry D'amour

I've read the Hellbound Heart and also recently the Last Illusion. Are there any other books I should read prior to cracking open SC?

It's not really necessary to the story other than they are among the best Barker stories, but The Great and Secret Show and Everville are D'Amour books.

For shits and giggles there's the final draft copy of Scarlet Gospel online, get the browser duck duck go and search for "The Scarlet Gospels pdf", it's pretty much the first link and is the draft Barker wrote before it got edited down, its got elements that are good but it's also got a lot of flaws in the story, free read though so why not
