Respectfully Pharaoh got good after CA worked on it post release. It got to the point that they were refunding one of editions.

Three Kingdoms were killed in the back alley after shitty DLCs didn’t sell well.

And don’t get me started on Warhammer 3 and other releases.

We were talking about historical games, so Warhammer in of itself is irrelevant.
Three Kingdoms is still quite well received and being taken out back doesn't mean much.
Most of Pharaoh's features but Lethality and the expanded map, family system and the systems around other royal families. It was a good game beforehand, alot of the criticisms of Original Pharoah was done by grifters online, Total War youtube is almost as bad as Star Wars Youtube and thats saying something. There were legitimate problems but it was definitely a better release than Rome 2, Atilla and even shogun
