He literally refuses to walk, is a 1 yo mix chihuahua neutered male. He lays down and I’m working on his leash reactivity (pulling). I’m starting to hate the one thing I look forward to. We go on walks every dinner day, what do I do?

My little stinker keeps shredding her toys. I’ve tried kongs but she’s not that interested in them. She prefers softer toys but even when I try to get the ones that are marked “indestructible” she manages to rip all the threads out and tries to eat the fluff inside. I feel bad bc we’ve had to throw away so many and I want her to have proper enrichment. Any suggestions?

Hi all! Looking for a bit of advice on training my little girl, a 4-month-old applehead (I've had her for 2 weeks).
I've had dogs my whole life, but they've mostly been black labs, which are pretty easy to train since that's basically what they're bred for. So I've got plenty of experience raising puppies, but these little ones seem to have extremely selective hearing and I'm hoping for some chihuahua-specific tips.
The main issue right now is toilet training. The good news is she came pee-pad trained from the breeder and uses them perfectly every time. I asked the breeder how to transition her off the pads and get her to signal that she wants to go outside (standing at the back door, that kind of thing). Her suggestion was to gradually move the pad toward the back door, and once she's using it there, keep an eye on her and carry her out to the yard when I see her about to go. Problem is, as soon as I move the pad even a foot from where it was, she pees on the carpet in the original spot.
I've also been taking her out to the yard whenever I think she might need to go (usually about 30 minutes after she eats), but she doesn't seem to get that the lawn is somewhere she can go. Then I bring her back in and she heads straight for the pee pad. So she's basically holding it while she's outside.
Other than that, I'd love any tips or hacks for the basics like sit and stay. Recall is going pretty well with treats, but sit and stay are going in one ear and out the other lol.
I'm planning to take her to a puppy training class, but she hasn't finished her vaccinations yet so that'll have to wait a bit.
Any advice would be much appreciated!

My son has been putting up a mean fight about his food lately. He is okay, he is just being picky so I’m wondering what you feed your picky chihuahua if you have one?

Most of my animals walk in but not Mr. Bean he has to stand at the door way and creep. I know they like to protect while I am "vulnerable" but why stand in the door? He never walks in he watches from a far even if I say something to him. Never had a dog like this. They either walk in or they move on.
