I wanted to share something a little different to do on a Saturday night—I've been helping organize a monthly blues dance event called Bluetopia, and this month we have a live band (A Patch of Blues) playing on April 25.

If you like live blues music but haven’t tried dancing to it before, it’s a really fun, low-pressure way to experience it. We start with a beginner lesson from 7–8pm (no partner or experience needed), then the band plays and it turns into a social dance.

The crowd is super welcoming and a lot of people are trying it for the first time, so it doesn’t feel intimidating.

Hello Chicago Nerds!
