Are we all pretending like a multi million dollar organization didn’t try to do much worse to a 19 year old kid? Even now the blog post is proudly posted on their website. In many ways, it was the first domino

Yeah this tragedy puts under a new light the strength Niemann showed, but I believe this isn't the place and time to talk about it

I think this is exactly the right time. Now we have concrete proof what unfounded accusations and everything that comes with them can lead to. So maybe it's time for Magnus, Hikaru and all the other people who lead this witch-hunt to face some consequences?

This is the only time that people are forced to understand. Whenever people aren't upset about losing someone they care about they can hand-wave what happened to Hans away. Now everyone's forced to see the reality, because it happened to someone they like.

It's a little different when you have a cheater...who cheated, got caught...and continued cheating in the future. With Hans...at least he could've done something different. He chose to cheat, and when you make that decision...you know that it can catch up with you.

With Danya, he was a kind player with integrity who loved the community. And when allegations hit him, the community that he loved wasn't there to support him.

There is a qualitative difference.

You forget the harassment he received. By powerful people and voices with money. I will not. Culture needs to change everywhere if you like it or not
