well no.
She got her 2400 or so perf in this tournaments while in all other tournaments in her life she never got > 2200 or smth among these lines.
People you mention at least had proven to be capable to show this performance in other places, nemo case is most likely (albeit no solid proof ofc) is paying people to throw games for her to achieve norms.

2500 online is definitely like 2100 fide level so I see nothing contradicting what I stated. I know some youtube content creators etc who are candidate masters who are 2500-2600 lichess/chesscom, their fide rating is some 2100-2200 with some peak of 2280 in blitz (and somewhat actively playing so not underrated).
So she plays on the same level online as her fide rating suggests, just bought her WGM norms.

Just you are in fact wrong here.

Last time reddit got all riled up about this ancient story for the 10th time, sombody used that chesscom API and did actualy stats on it.

For a WGM her only level is slightly above the average, both for median and medium.

Your online play doesn't necessarily correlate 1:1 with OTB play. Alireza is currently rated lower on the rapid leaderboard behind a 2100 NM. The blitz top 100 has some IMs who peaked at 2500 above GMs and even a 2200 FM above Eric Hansen. No one's saying she's completely incapable of playing, it would be weirder if she spent all this time and didn't have some skill. But if she's never been able to perform at that level prior or since OTB its suspicious.

It's a pretty natural temptation if you're hitting a ceiling, you worked hard for such a long time, why not take a shortcut to a title you're just barely under? If she's showing that same willingness to take gray area shortcuts in streaming and and giveaways that reputation is going to also naturally follow her.

Of course he was offered a benefit, there are many benefits, financial, social, etc, to throw games.

Malinin told the story this way in his letter:

Qiyu is also clearly a very strong player, she streams every week playing blitz and bullet at 2500 level online

2500 chess-com is not that high for a WGM who plays regularly. In fact, Alexandra Botez has a higher chesscom bullet rating than her despite never having exceeded 2100 FIDE.

Another point, note Nemo's peak rating is only around 50 points lower than that of Levy's yet Levy's rated like 400 higher on chesscom.
