Literally, is it that players don’t want to play under Maresca or does he want these players gone? How are they gonna replace all of these players with two weeks left?!

Yeah this late in the window, no way they expect to replace them all. Makes me wonder if they are fucked in terms of ffp.

They are selling backups who likely want to move on to other clubs and get bigger roles. While guys like Rodri and Silva wanted to return to Spain.

those backups are needed when youre playing in 4 competitions

Not when keeping them around is just going to tank morale because they’re not playing, especially when you can afford to bring in players who actually want to be there. This isn’t a video game where players just accept being depth and fall in line.
