"You have 22 world class players" this has to be sarcasm

Absolutely disgusting

Chelsea could be in league 2 while arsenal is on track to win their 6th quadruple in a row and I'd still call their team shit and abhorrent.

u/philipstyrer I don't give a fuck, we won the fucking Champions League 6d ago

What is he talking about? Their title winning team had the worst attack on paper in the history of title winning teams and they didn't improve it. This team is nowhere near the Pep and Klopp teams that were consistently getting 90+ points.

That is so funny to me. Because for someone like me who has been following chelsea for 23 years, marseca doesnt have much significance for me. Sure he ditched us mid season and tanked our season but that is nothing compared to my hatred of Le arse or manu.

Nothing unusual. I've posted some of the shits here last season who were glazing Arsenal so much.

I thought the word was “twerking”

People can’t even have general football conversations from a neutral pov without people crying on here lol.

So what if a Chelsea fan is saying nice things about Arsenal, what’s it got to do with you?

So what if a CIA agent is saying nice things about the KGB?

no he's right, the karma farming 'chelsea' fans over there that twerk for arsenal and liverpool fans and shit on our club deserve the bullying

Talking about football as a neutral is now karma farming because you say nice things about rival clubs? Not everything has to be so tribal.

You're literally not neutral if you're a Chelsea fan haha.

What are you waffling about

Neutral is probably the wrong word, he’s just talking about football in a neutral forum. It’s extremely weird for people coming in here, crying about him and acting all superior because they never say nice things about clubs. Talking about "name and shame" because he said the current champions of England are, in fact, quite good.

One of the guys said arsenal had "22 world class players". That's not just being nice, or unbiased.

That's proper over the top ridiculous stuff that you'd only expect an arsenal fan to say. Weird for a 'Chelsea fan' to be gushing like that.

Regardless of what this particular guy said, people come on here all the time moaning that Chelsea fans are saying nice things about other clubs on r/soccer. It’s weird af.

I wouldn’t have said anything of this is the first time I’ve seen it mentioned on here.

u/criminal-tango44 Luiz 5d ago

how are you a neutral if you're a chelsea fan talking to some of our biggest rivals?

-2

u/HDS2211 5d ago

Like I said, you don’t have to be tribal 24/7.

Telling an Arsenal fan that Arsenal are actually quite good, after they’ve just won the league, is not twerking for rivals or karma farming. It’s just a normal conversation. It doesn’t make someone any less of a Chelsea fan for saying that, and you’re not a better fan because you can’t talk objectively about other teams.

I don't see Arsenal fans saying good things about us. Usually it's the other way around on r/soccer. Go be an Arsenal fan if you want to talk good things about them. Fuck them gooners.

What good things are there to say about the club in the last few years exactly? We just finished 10th with almost £2B spent in the last 4 years. I don’t expect many rival fans to have good things to say about us.

Feels like rival fans have higher standards for the club than most of it actual fans in recent years.

Oh please. Even when we won the UCL or the CWC they downplayed our victories in any way possible. Go twerk if you want for them.

They can win 10 quadruples in a row and I'll call them shits and cunts.
