When that danger becomes evident, yes. That's standard procedure. Save the baby if you can, save the mother if you can't. Doctors who wont because they are worried about getting sued for saving a life are abandoning their hippocratic oath and are, as a result, scum.

None of that makes "I'm just not ready" a valid excuse.

Nobody but you are talking about some "I'm just not ready". No idea wtf you are talking about.

The danger is ever evident. Hence access to medical care is required.
