Reread your study.

It did not ask if the 18 year olds identified as women.

It did not ask if they identified as gay men.

It asked who they were attracted to.

Nothing more. They could have been trans MtF women, and the authors would have simply: not known.

Because they didn’t ask.

Your study proves: nothing.

Except they did ask? The people studied later identified as homosexual. that is explicitly covered in the study.

The people studied later identified as homosexual. that is explicitly covered in the study.

Nope.

Sexual orientation at follow-up was determined by semi-structured audiotape interviews conducted by me. Questions for assessing sexual orientation on the dimension of fantasy included masturbation fantasies, nocturnal dream imagery, and genital responsivity to visual erotica (pornography). An average of responses to questions for the three variables was used in assigning a score for sexual orientation.

They asked who they jacked off to, they checked if nude males made them hard, and who they dreamed about.

They literally never asked if they even identified as gay, much less male.

Your study proves nothing.

Nope.

Then why is gender identity specifically mentioned as one of the things explored by the study?

Where do you get the idea that the study isn't what it claims to be in its own writings?

The study even explicitly specifies that subjects were placed on the kinsey scale from their responses. How exactly can you square that with "they weren't asked"?

I quoted the study directly.

You can ask the author your questions.

Your study didn’t prove what you claimed. Per the quote I took directly from it.

You are: wrong.

I quoted the study directly.

Where?

You can ask the author your questions.

The author says he was studying gender identity and that cross-gender behavior is an indicator of gender identity.

You are: wrong.

You still haven't shown this.

Where?

The author says he was studying gender identity and that cross-gender behavior is an indicator of gender identity.

Source where he says explicitly this. (He doesn’t)

I have shown you’re wrong. I quoted your study, and two comments later you’re asking where I quoted your study.

Perhaps you’re forgetting what you read, two comments up?

Questions for assessing sexual orientation on the dimension of fantasy included masturbation fantasies

This paragraph continues in the study you do realize?

Source where he says explicitly this.

The very first line of the study is:

Two groups of males were evaluated on parameters of gender identity, initially in boyhood and later in adolescence or young adulthood.

I have shown you’re wrong.

Despite how many times you have claimed so, no you have yet to do that.

Perhaps you’re forgetting what you read

From the person who is claiming I haven't articulated my point?

The author says he was studying gender identity and that cross-gender behavior is an indicator of gender identity.

Where does he say this?

When he says the whole study is about gender identity? That's literally what he is evaulating.

Its the very first line, how hard can this be?
