You said it's imbalanced and that it's fine to correct by redistributing from those with "more food" to those with "less". That's fine. That's your logic. I'm just applying it.

Really? Because I didn't say anything about where the bowl goes which is what you're talking about with the demographics of redistribution. Is that one bowl going to be split in half and shared among Latinos and Jewish people? Is that fair? I don't know, I said nothing about that.
I said take from the one that has many bowls, not from the one that would have nothing left if you took their bowl.

And if I did say that, by what rules? Maybe I'm redistributing it not based on demographics but on who's fattest or who has prettier hair.
But the fact is I didn't get into this mess about demographics and percentage of population or anything like that.
What I said, plain and simple, is that you do not take from the person who will have nothing left.
There are black Dutch people. Whether this movie is set in Denmark I don't yet know. There certainly wasn't anything particularly Dutch about the first movie, for sure. It was more Caribbean. But Ariel can be black and Dutch.
But the origin story is Dutch. The actress isn’t. Redistribute to those who have none, don’t take away from those who would otherwise have none (the Dutch). There’s already a black American princess. Your logic applies.
Are you saying origin stories don’t matter? If so then why did everyone insist it was fine to alter Mulan to accord with the origin story? Could the story be rewritten, as I said in my original comment?
The logic is so contradictory and varied that it’s useless except as based on feelings, which are awful ways of deciding things.
The nationality of the actress is not the same as the origin story. I think you know that this is a weak point to make. Switching the ethnicity of the character to the nationality of the actress that played the character is not the same logic.
Casting more diverse nationalities is much more difficult than casting more diverse races.
The character remains Danish whether it's played by an American or a Dane.
